The Hit Point Mystery [Pathfinder]

When it comes to Pathfinder Roleplaying, hit points, and how they’re generated, are fairly self-explanitory. On the surface. The basic premise is: Hit Die, plus Constitution modifier, plus misclellaneous (favored class bonus, Toughness feat, etc.). All creatures follow this premise, but there are variations depending on what type of creature. The deeper you get into design, the more quirks pop up that not even Paizo gets right every time.
